Tarpon Springs

టార్పన్‌ స్ప్రింగ్స్‌ గురించి, చరిత్రగన్న ఆ ఊరి తాలూకు అందాలు, బీచులు, గ్రీకు రెస్టారెంట్ల గురించి చాలా రోజులుగా వింటూ, వెళ్ళాలనుకుంటూ ఉన్నాము. ఆఖరుకు మొన్న శనివారం మధ్యహ్నం నుండి వెళ్ళి కొంతసేపు బీచిలో కూర్చుని ఆకళ్ళు వేస్తున్నాయని తిని (ఒక చాలా మంచి గ్రీకు రెస్టారంట్లో. అక్కడ ఉన్నంత సేపూ నాకైతే నిజ్జంగా గ్రీకు దేశమ్లో ఉన్నట్టనిపించింది మరి) బయటకు వచ్చేసరికి చీకటిపడిపోయింది. అందుకే ఇంక ఊర్లో ఏమి తిరగకుండానే వెనక్కు వచ్చేసాము. పైన చూపిస్తున్న ఫొటో ఒక మామూలు బీచి ఫొటో అని, టార్పన్ స్ప్రింగ్స్ విశేషాలు దేనినీ ప్రతిబింబించటంలేదనీ తెలుసు. కేమరా బ్యాటరీ అయిపోవటం వల్ల అక్కడ ఎక్కువ ఫొటోలు తీయలేకపోయాను. మళ్ళీ ఒకసారి కొంచెం తీరికగా వెళ్ళి, మరిన్ని ఫొటోలు తీస్తాను. ఇంతకీ పైన చూస్తున్న ఫొటో హావర్డ్ పార్కు బీచిలో తీసింది.

We've been hearing about tarpon springs, its beautiful beaches, historic downtown and very nice greek restaurants and been wanting to go there for a while. Atlast, we went there this weekend, we were totally bowled over. I know this is just a typical beach fotograph and not exactly the picture that shows what Tarpon springs is all about. Unfortunately I couldn't take many pictures as the camera battery ran out of charge. Will go there soon and take more pictures, hopefully. This fotograph is at the Howard park beach(?).

కొన్నాళ్ళ క్రితం పుట్టిన్రోజు నాడు మధ్యాహ్నం భోజనానికి థాయ్ రెస్టారెంట్‌ కి వెళ్ళినప్పుటి ఫొటో మొదటిది. అదే రోజు సాయింత్రం ఇంట్లో తీసిన ఫొటో రెండోది (నాకు గుర్తున్నంత వరకు).
