కొమ్మల్లో పాలపిట్ట కూత కూసిందోయ్..కమ్మంగా గున్నమామి కాపు కాసిందోయ్..
(నా కవిత్వమో కపిత్వమో కాదు ఇది.. పిడుగురాముడు సినిమాలో పాట)
నేను దాని వెనకాలే ఉండి ఫొటోలు తీస్తున్నా అని చూసి ముందు అక్కడికి ఇక్కడికి తెగ ఎగిరిపోయింది కానీ తరవాత బాగానే కుదురుగా కూర్చుని పోజులిచ్చింది.

నిజం చెప్పలాంటే, I wasn't sure that was పాలపిట్ట. అదే రంగు లో ఉంది కదా అని పాలపిట్టే అయుంటుంది అని ఆ పేరు పెట్టేశాను. If you have an idea, can you pls confirm? I'll be glad to upload that in telugu wiki.
I found that this is not exactly THE పాలపిట్ట, our రాష్ట్ర పక్షి which in India is know as Indian Roller or Southern roller or more scientifically known as "Coracias indica" .

Bird Family : Coraciidae - Rollers & dollarbird
Bird Group : CORACIIFORMES

This particular bird I posted, could be of the same family of "rollers" though. Not sure.
